Ancient Ayurvedic Wisdom, Certified Organic

Triphala — meaning "three fruits" in Sanskrit — is one of Ayurveda's most revered and time-tested formulas, used for over 2,000 years to support whole-body wellness. Our Certified Organic Triphala Powder combines three powerful fruits in equal measure: Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica), and Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) — each sustainably sourced and gently dried to preserve their full spectrum of bioactive compounds.

Earthy, slightly astringent, and deeply nourishing — Triphala is the cornerstone of Ayurvedic daily wellness, revered as a gentle yet powerful tonic for the digestive system and beyond.

Ingredients

Certified Organic Amalaki Fruit Powder (Emblica officinalis), Certified Organic Bibhitaki Fruit Powder (Terminalia bellirica), Certified Organic Haritaki Fruit Powder (Terminalia chebula). Equal parts of each fruit.

Key Health Benefits

  • Digestive Harmony — Triphala is best known for its gentle, balancing effect on the entire digestive tract. It supports healthy bowel regularity, relieves occasional constipation, and helps tone the intestinal walls without the harsh effects of stimulant laxatives.
  • Powerful Antioxidant Protection — Amalaki is one of the richest natural sources of Vitamin C and polyphenols on earth. Together, the three fruits deliver a broad spectrum of antioxidants that help neutralise free radicals and reduce oxidative stress throughout the body.
  • Gentle Detoxification — Traditionally used as a daily detox tonic, Triphala supports the liver and colon in clearing accumulated waste and toxins, promoting a feeling of lightness and clarity.
  • Immune System Support — The high Vitamin C content of Amalaki, combined with the immunomodulatory compounds in Haritaki and Bibhitaki, supports a resilient and responsive immune system.
  • Anti-Inflammatory Action — Rich in tannins, gallic acid, and ellagic acid, Triphala has demonstrated significant anti-inflammatory properties in research, supporting joint comfort and overall systemic balance.
  • Eye & Vision Health — Amalaki has a long history of use in Ayurveda for supporting eye health. Emerging research suggests Triphala may help protect against oxidative damage to ocular tissues.
  • Oral Health — Studies have shown Triphala's antimicrobial properties may help reduce plaque, support healthy gums, and inhibit the growth of bacteria associated with tooth decay.
  • Weight Management Support — Triphala may support healthy metabolism and fat digestion, and has been studied for its potential role in supporting healthy body composition when combined with a balanced diet and lifestyle.

How to Use

Mix ½–1 teaspoon (approx. 2–5g) into warm water, herbal tea, or juice and stir well. Best taken on an empty stomach — either first thing in the morning or before bed — for optimal digestive and detoxifying benefits.

  • Classic warm water tonic — Stir into a cup of warm (not boiling) water and sip slowly. Add a squeeze of lemon or our Lemon Powder and a touch of raw honey to soften the earthy, astringent taste.
  • Morning smoothie boost — Blend into your morning smoothie with banana, ginger, and a handful of greens for a grounding, gut-supportive start to the day.
  • Herbal tea blend — Stir into a warm cup of ginger and chamomile tea for a deeply soothing evening ritual. Ginger brings its well-known anti-nausea and digestive-stimulating properties, while chamomile adds gentle calming and anti-spasmodic benefits — together with Triphala, this trio makes a powerful wind-down tonic for the gut and nervous system.
  • Triphala paste — Mix with a small amount of raw honey to form a paste and take directly — a traditional Ayurvedic method that enhances absorption and palatability.
  • Overnight soak — Steep 1 teaspoon in a glass of room-temperature water overnight and drink the infused water first thing in the morning for a gentle, sustained cleanse.
  • Oil pulling support — Prepare a diluted Triphala rinse by dissolving a small amount in warm water and use as a mouth rinse to support oral hygiene.

Start low and go slow. If you are new to Triphala, begin with ½ teaspoon daily and gradually increase as your body adjusts. Some individuals may experience mild digestive changes in the first few days — this is normal as the body recalibrates.
